Changes in Master’s admission processes for the autumn 2019 intake

Information for those interested in applying to Master’s programmes for the autumn 2019 intake:

There will be some changes in the application process to the international Master’s degree programmes for the autumn 2019 intake, as University Admissions Finland will close down. Instead of a centralised application processing service for multiple universities, each university will have their own processes for the Master’s admission.

What does this mean for the applicants?

If you have previously visited www.universityadmissions.fi for information on how to apply, for the next application round you should instead visit the individual universities’ websites. Information about the next application round will be published on the universities’ websites later this year.

Additionally, rather than submit your application documents, language test results, or inquiries about the application process to University Admissions Finland, you should direct all these to the universities that you are interested in applying to.

You can search for all the available study programmes at the national application portal Studyinfo (https://studyinfo.fi/wp2/en/).

It is also highly recommended that you visit the information website Study in Finland (http://www.studyinfinland.fi/), where you will find lots of useful information about applying to and studying in Finland.

Thank you for your interest towards studying in Finland, and best of luck with your future applications!

Kind regards,
University Admissions Finland
